For the last two years St Barbara’s has been supporting the work of St Paul’s Theological College in Kapsabet, Kenya, following the visit of the principal of the college, Rev Elizabeth Cheruiyot, to meet with our PCC. Our support for the college is enabled by African Pastors Fellowship.
The college had to close for part of 2020 due to Covid, but has been able to re-open this year for in-person learning. There is an ongoing need to provide online services, and our giving has enabled an IT suite to be developed at the college. Our giving has paid for carpentry work, electrical wiring and installation, and the purchase of fourteen computers. The next stage is the installation of good internet services that can provide reliable access to the internet and online learning. Do continue to pray for the college and the students at this time.
