You can join all our Christmas services this year online or by pre-booking a place to attend in church.

To book a place in church, simply email: st.barbarachurchbooking@gmail.com with:

  • Your name;
  • number of people (all must be able to sit together); and
  • the service you wish to attend

To join online you don’t need to book, of course, just click on the link to the service on our homepage.

We have four special Christmas services this year:

Christmas Carol Service (Sunday 20th December; 6.30pm)

This is a beautiful service of readings and carols. Join us online to sing along with carols from home or book and come to the church and enjoy listening to the choir, before we finish outside, singing a couple of carols on the church lawn.

Christmas Eve Nativity Service (24th December; 5.30pm)

Traditionally our most popular service of the year, this year we hope it will feel no less special, even if inevitably a little different. Either choose to join the live-streamed service from home or book in to come to church. As choirs, but not congregations, are allowed to sing inside, we will finish our service outside so that we can all join in singing one of our favourite carols.

Christmas Eve Midnight Communion (24 th December; 11.30pm)

This is a beautiful, quiet service with which to usher in Christmas Day, as we celebrate the birth of Christ among us. The service will be streamed live, so you can join us from home, or book and come and be with us in person.

Christmas Day Communion Service (25 th December; 10am)

Suitable for all ages, book and come and join us for a joyful celebration on this special day. The service will be finished by 11am, so no need to worry about that Christmas roast! And if you can’t join us in person, why not join us on-line.

We look forward to celebrating Christmas with you.
