Palm Sunday Service (Sunday 13th April; 10am) Do join us for this special service as we remember Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.
Buzz at St B’s Easter Craft Workshop and Walk Through the Easter Story (Sunday 13th April; 4pm). Join us for a special afternoon as we have a craft workshop for young families, followed by a walk-through the Easter story using drama in different parts of the church and garden, before finishing with a bring-and-share tea.
Holy Week Compline Services (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday of Holy Week; 7.30 – 8.00pm). A simple, quiet service of readings and prayers, as we journey through Holy Week. These services can provide a very helpful focus and preparation early in the week for the services that are to come.
Maundy Thursday Communion Service (Thurs 17th April; 7.30pm). This is a beautiful service as we remember the Last Supper and gather around the Lord’s Table in a special way, reconnecting with the events of the original Passover meal. There is the opportunity for people to stay on after the end of service for a time of silent prayer and reflection.
Good Friday Service of the Cross (Fri 18th April; 2.00-3.00pm). This is a moving service of readings and reflection, as we meditate at the foot of the cross.
Easter Sunrise Service (Sun 20th April; 5.30am). This is an unforgettable service as we gather outside before dawn around a bonfire before heading into the church by candlelight, and then celebrate the resurrection of Christ as the sun rises. It is a service of awe and wonder for people of all ages. Everyone is warmly invited back to the vicarage for a cooked breakfast. (Please note, there is no 8am communion service on this day).
Easter Sunday Communion Service (Sun 20th April; 10am). Come and join us for this joyful service of celebration on this very special day.
