EDGE – For a new generation
EDGE is a new group for youth at St. Barbara’s.
Aimed at those at secondary school and above, its purpose is to make Christian messages relevant and useful in a diverse and changing world.
Our sessions will focus on real-world stories and experiences. Some from history and some from invited guests: charity workers, policemen,doctors and others. You will hear about their challenges their faith helps them to succeed. From in-depth bible study to ethical dilemmas and other exciting ways to explore faith the group aims to stimulate and challenge.
It’s not all serious, though. There’s time to relax and spend time with those around you and plans to do things outside the regular format.
